We ask all applicants to complete and submit an application. Once your application is submitted, a recruiter will contact you via phone or email to schedule an interview.
Depending on the time of the interview, you may be given a tour at one of our locations. You will then be asked to shadow Dr. Glenn to learn the culture of Dental Depot.
Should a position be offered to you, you will then receive a checklist to begin the credentialing process.
Before starting, you will be required to attend an Orientation where you can review your contract and complete New Hire paperwork. You will also learn chart components and receive OSHA and HIPAA training.
Our doctors work a 4/5 schedule. This means you get a set day off during the week and work every other Saturday. For example, if your off day is Wednesday, you will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday one week. The next week you will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Depending on your experience, you will get an assistant assigned to each operatory you work out of.
Our orthodontic offices are equipped with six operatories, and orthodontists will have, on average, six assistants.
This will depend on the procedure. Emergency visits, crown deliveries, and post-op visits are usually 30 minute appointments. Fillings and extractions are usually 60 minutes. Crown preps, root canals, and multiple extractions are usually 1 hour 15 minutes. Again, this will vary.
Orthodontic visits and procedures vary, as well. Orthodontists typically have anywhere from 15-90 minutes allotted for appointments. Adjustments are usually 30 minute appointments, while starts and debonds are usually 90 minute appointments.
For general dentistry, we contract with Medicaid and most PPO plans. We do not contract with DMO insurance plans.
Orthodontics, on the other hand, is out-of-network with most insurances. We currently are in-network with Delta Dental Premier, United Concordia and Medicaid/SoonerCare.
