Make a Good First Impression

Making a good first impression is the most important part of the interview process. Setting expectations can leave a long lasting impression in the recruiter’s mind.  You want to make sure to do the following:

  • Be early. Arriving on time is late. You want to make sure that you are at least 10-15 minutes early for your interview.
  • Dress appropriately. It’s better to be overdressed than under-dressed.
  • Have a firm handshake
  • Make eye contact
